About Shawn.
Since 2010, I have served in different areas of the mental health field. Much of my clinical work has focused on the treatment of adolescents and young adults, although I regularly work with adults as well.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Music and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. I have worked in clinical settings, including addiction treatment centers, universities, and nonprofit agencies.
I believe therapy is about healing and growth, but it’s also about discovery. Good quality therapy takes you to a deeper understanding of how you see yourself and the world. Once that is revealed, you can begin to heal and grow.
My mission is to walk with people through their pain, in love, and empower them to explore, discover, and create their own life change.
Robert Waldinger’s key message from the Harvard Study of Adult Development is that “good relationships keep us happier, healthier, and help us live longer.” I am here to help you have a better relationship with yourself and others.
